Hello!

Elder Yarber and i have been seeing miracles left and right this last week!
Ed, who i introduced last week, came to church yesterday. He was worried about feeling judged, but he said he felt so open and there were even a few converts to the gospel that started talking to him and had some very personal and powerful conversations with him. When we stared sharing the message of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (which is a message of how Christ’s church was on the earth, was lost after Christ and his apostles were rejected, and brought back to the earth through a man named Joseph Smith) before we even started talking about Joseph Smith and his calling to be a prophet Ed stopped us in the middle of the discussion and ask, “are you telling me that my baptism was not valid because it was not done with with power and authority of God and that i need to get baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because that is the only church that holds that power and authority?” We said yes… and then invited him to be baptized. He said yes.
Earlier this week we got a call from a man who told us about a girl that has been wanting to get baptized for years, but (because of a sticky family situation) her dad would not allow her to get baptized. anyway just this last week she asked her dad again if she could get baptized and by some miracle (the power of the spirit softening his heart) he said yes and so now we are preparing for her to enter into the waters of baptism and take the name of Christ upon herself. To promise to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. And to stand as a witness of Christ at all times, in all things, and in all places. And as she does so she will be given the gift of the spirit which will allow her to have God with her at all times.
So many more miracles to share, but no time! I love the people here so much! You could not find a better people that love God and love their neighbors. Truly we are all brothers and sisters and just as we love a parent, sibling, or significant other, we should love all. May we always forget ourselves and turn outward when our natural selves would turn inward. I love you and hope you have an amazing week!
